We are a two person team led by the proprietor and namesake, Sindur McRedmond, G.G. Our mission is to provide the highest quality custom jewelry including value and service. We carry an extensive collection of “Ready to wear” jewelry from antique and vintage to modern and contemporary. Our services include retail jewelry sales, repairs or replacements, appraisals, estate buying and collection management, wholesale and gemological consulting. 

Office Assistant Job Description

We are hiring an office assistant to perform basic administrative and routine tasks as well as assist in any organizational or sales tasks including office set up, scheduling meetings, and supporting staff with any required tasks. 

Pay: Staring $15-20/hr based on experience, commission as agreed upon

Hours: 25+/ week and various week nights and weekends

Responsibilities for Office Assistant

  • Set up the store for retail shopping
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work place
  • Greet visitors in a professional manner
  • Provide visitors with information and direct them accordingly
  • Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party
  • Manage social media accounts with collaboration from other staff 
  • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies; order and distribute office supplies as necessary
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
  • Perform other administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, drafting and proofreading correspondence, and conducting research


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role or in the Jewelry industry
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment
  • Sales drive with an ability to work with and bring in new customers
  • Creative problem solver
